Wed 29 Aug (5-6 p.m.; Tolman 2311) Guiding questions for the introductory meeting: 1. There are (literally) thousands of ways to improve learning and great papers to read. But if someone (your choice: researcher, learner, teacher) was only going to read 5 papers, what's one nomination you'd make? 2. Are there papers/topics you'd like us to cover? 3. What are the arguments for and against relating research more
directly to educational practice? Why doesn't it happen more often? It
can't be *all* good, and there must be good reasons it often doesn't
happen. Meeting notes: xxx |
